Dory was rescued from puppy mills at 2 years old. Sadly, she was not treated well. She did not know how to be a dog. She had no idea that she could lay down on the bed or sofa even did not know to access fresh food and water. When she first came to the foster, she stayed at the corner and saw other dogs’ playing. She turned her head away from us in the corner with her face to the wall and her back to us. She only ate when we put her inside of the exercise pen.
She becomes healthy at the foster’s. The foster mom has tried to gain her trust and she has come out of the shell. She is confident to interact with other dogs and she can enjoy her dog life now. Dory is friendly to adults, children, cats and strangers. She just wanted to be petted!
Dory is one of dog breeds with shortened snouts. Due to the airline regulation, she has to wait until now to find her forever home.
Finally, she knows to walk on leash, potty outside, somehow accidents happened. We all are patient with her potty training, so does the owner!
