My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maya is an absolute darling with animal and human creatures alike. She is a Boxer cross, just 2 years old weighing 48 lbs. Maya is in a Vancouver foster home and is thoroughly enjoying what it means to be fed and loved. She is gentle with her small foster dog sibling, and has been good with the entire family, including strangers visiting the house, strangers outside, and even with a visiting child. She doesn't bark or jump, but calmly and sweetly shares her hellos. Maya is housetrained, and calm at home, and peacefully sleeps beside her foster parents. She has been fine alone and doesn't chew things that aren't meant for dogs. Maya walks extremely well on the leash, with a loose leash alongside her foster mum. She does love a good full-on play with a dog friend but is also respectful to smaller dogs who might not be interested. Maya is a distemper survivor, and shows a mild involuntary tick as a result, but is healthy (and now happy!). The tick may be slightly more pronounced at the moment due to changes in her surroundings and the resultant stress of that. This girl is a survivor, with an amazing disposition and a huge heart waiting to share with you. Maya is spayed and vaccinated. She is curious and playful with cats when tested. If you could handle this much love, email spcapv@gmail.com for an application.
