This handsome boy is Keen, and he is ready to find his forever! Here are 10 things he wants his new family to know about him:

1. I am a Bullmastiff, and I am about 4 years old.

2. I didn’t have a great life before rescue, so I can be very shy and timid with new people. I sometimes bark at them, but only because I’m afraid. My new home will need to continue working with me to help me learn to trust humans again.

3. My ideal home would be with an adults-only family that doesn’t have many visitors to the house. New people are scary to me, and when I’m afraid, I am not my best self.

4. I live with a female Cane Corso, and she’s my bestie. It would be nice to find a home with a large, confident, and easy going female that I could be friends with.

5. I haven’t had much experience with small dogs since I came to The Bullpen, so I don’t know how I would feel about living in a home with them.

6. I haven’t met any cats since leaving the shelter, so I’m not sure how well I would do in a home with felines.

7. The words that best describe me are shy, watchful, and sweet.

8. I like to hang out with my Corso friend, sunbathe, and of course, EAT!

9. I am housebroken, good on a leash, and I know how to use a dog door!

10. I am fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
