Meet Captain, a gorgeous hunk who wants his forever family to know these 10 things about him!

1. I am an American Bulldog, and I am about 7 years old. Don’t let my age scare you, I have lots of spunk and energy, and even more love to give.

2. I was found as a stray in Atlanta. Even though I had a microchip, my owners didn’t come get me. Luckily, the Bullpen heard that I needed help and offered me a place.

3. I love people and think I would do well in a home with kids older than 10.

4. I would like to find a home with a large, easy going female that I could play and hang out with.

5. I haven’t had much experience with small dogs since I came to The Bullpen, but I could probably live in a home with a medium sized female.

6. I’m not sure how I feel about felines, but if I’m allowed a slow, supervised introduction, I may be able to cohabitate with cats.

7. The words that best describe me are sweet, friendly, and affectionate.

8. I like to play with toys and lounge around with people.

9. I am housebroken and I know how to use a dog door. I am good on a leash, and will go in a crate, but I don’t like it!

10. I am fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a "perfect placement" so we know that they will not be failed again.
