Iron Chihuahua 3 years Iron definitely has “a way with the ladies”. This guy is the best behaved dog on any given day and tries his very best to woo everyone present. He gives out kisses like candy and happily leans on legs to get pets and praise. Iron is an amazingly sweet, easy going, friendly 3 year old rare Mexican Chihuahua mix. Seems we have a few of these rare Chi's lately. We found him at an area that we usually see little ones dumped. We also came upon Ian, Iona and Inka at the same time. Are they related?...Hmmm, might be? We do believe that he was a product of overbreeding, as he has this wonky foot. This is usually a sign. Poor guy, but fear not, this in no way slows him down. Iron is great with other dogs, cats and all people. He has never met a stranger and can charm even the grumpiest of people with his spirited and kind nature. Little Iron dreams of someone who will adore him and provide him with a warm couch and plenty of treats. Iron is looking for a home in Alberta. No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)
We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.
NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
