I am Honey a 5 year old, Merle/Sable. I weigh 16 lbs. In March, I came from a breeder to my foster home with KCSR. I have sired many litters of puppies. I love to cuddle and be petted and my tail wags even when I sit down. I pursue my Foster Mom for connection and contact. I am crate trained and have never had an accident in my crate. I go to my crate whenever my Foster Mom is at work. I am pottied trained with an occasional accident. I come in from outside easily but am still scared about going out through the doorway but if my Foster Mom has a treat for me I will run outside. I am very treat motivated. I am anxious and frightened about loud sounds or sudden movements. Even if a fork drops on the floor it will scare me. I am scared of visitors but if I am slowly introduced to that person and they have treats I will gradually lose my fear. I will need love, patience and training to gain confidence and courage. When I am with another dog who is walking on a leash, I can walk on a leash but will need more practice. My Foster Mom is so pleased with the progress I already have made. I will do well with kids that are 12 years and older. I love other dogs and have gotten along well with all the dogs I have met. I would do best in a home with at least one dog. Because I might be a flight risk I am a local adoption only. My fur has gotten thicker and more beautiful with love and good nutrition! I have been spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and micro-chipped. I can’t wait to meet you!
