My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Medium size, playful, sweet dog that loves attention.

SUGAR is probably the sweetest dog we have come across in all our years of rescue.  She is a medium size dog, around 40 lbs., that just wants to be loved.  She sits down and waits for you to put the leash on her.  Then she very nicely walks and does not pull or jerk on the leash.  She may jump up only to give you a big hug, and to get hugged back.  She is very affectionate.  She is very pretty, and well behaved.  She can "talk" if she wants your attention, or if she wants a dog cookie.  She eats well, she is crate trained, and she goes outside when the weather is pretty, and comes in at night to sleep.  I can't think of anything bad to say about her, because she just is simply a perfect little lady.  She doesn't mind other dogs, in fact, she will look away from them to pass by.  She probably would not mind having a dog to spend time with.  But mostly, she just wants her own human.  She is spayed, micro-chipped, up to date on shots, and is heartworm negative.  She is on monthly heartworm preventive.  Please contact me if you wish to meet her.  We do home safety checks, as well as require references.  If you have any questions about her, please let me know.  Thank you.
