Here's what the humans have to say about me:
11/9/19 - I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!
Adoption Fee: $550
Fostered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Age: 1.5 years
Weight: 7.8 lbs.
10/28/19 - I am not sure what I did to be found stray at such a young age, but it must have been bad since when I was found, many, many measures were taken to locate my owners, and no one came forward. Not sure how that can be since I am such a good boy. I love everyone; men, woman, large dogs, small dogs and even currently reside with cats although I am sometimes a little too interested in them.
I am currently sleeping in a crate at my foster home, but that is just because with the humans and other dogs, there isn’t really much more room. Me and foster mom do take naps in the bed, and I am an excellent sleeper.
I am a hearty eater and am eating twice per day hard food. I do get excited at breakfast and dinnertime, but I guess that comes from no consistency in the food department wher I came from previously. Foster mom is still trying to put a little more weight on me since I was skinny when I arrived.
Even though I’m young, I’m not destructive, but do love to play with toys. I can be a busy little man if there is a lot going on, but if you are in chill/watch tv mode, I’m good to just lay with you and be loved on.
I’m sure I will have the urge to mark when I have to change homes again, but I’m doing better in my foster home. If you let me out enough, I’m good about doing my business outside. I love running around the backyard, but when it is raining, my business will be done on the concrete closest to the house. Teehee
Since the weather is getting cooler, I wouldn’t mind going on walks because I love to greet everyone I meet and check out all the smells and tinkle on things. I can jump on the sofa and will do so if that is where you are. I am your typical yorkie in that I want to be wherever you are. I do use the steps to get up to the bed and get down.
I like to be held and loved on. And, foster mom says that I am not a wiggle worm when she is holding me. Obviously, that is a good thing. My personality is loving, curious and outgoing, but foster mom says that she can tell I wasn’t treated great before since I go hide if anyone raises their voice or if I make an accident I immediately run under the bed. Foster mom says these are things that I should not be getting fussed at for since it is the parent’s job to constructively teach me and love me.
I’m not a huge barker, but when I do, it sounds like a seal. That’s what foster mom says. I don’t know what a seal sounds like. Even though I am your typical yorkie and love being with my people. I’m not one of those smothering boyfriends that won’t let you catch your breath. I’m good sometimes to lay at the end of the sofa of bed by myself.
To sum me up, I’m a pretty well rounded, cute, fun, loving little guy who wants a home with parents that appreciate me for me.
