My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coco & Molly!! This darling Yorkshire Terrier duo was welcomed into rescue after their owner passed away and no other relatives were able to care for them. Coco is a spunky, lovable 6 year old male who is very bonded with his 7 yr old sister, Molly. Coco & Molly are a wonderful pair. They follow each other everywhere and can often be found cuddled up against each other. They truly hate to be apart, so their forever home will be one where they can be together for the rest of their lives. Not only are they great with each other, but they also adore their humans! They love to be held and snuggled and doted on. They also get along great with other dogs, cats and children.

Coco & Molly are also very healthy! Both were neutered/spayed, had blood-work completed and Coco received a dental. Coco was left with only a few teeth, and Molly came in to rescue having absolutely no teeth! Because of this both dogs require soft food only. Molly, sadly, is also missing most of her lower jaw. Because of this, she is unable to eat on her own. This makes her feeding times a bit tricky, but manageable with a little extra effort. She has a great appetite but struggles to get food into her mouth and will require a human caregiver to spoon feed her. She is very receptive to the help. Without help, Molly gets very stressed and frustrated at the inability to eat her food. Molly's foster family will be happy to show her future forever family exactly what to do!

Both Coco & Molly are house trained, but their tiny size means they can’t hold it for long periods of time. Their ideal home would be able to get them outside every 2-4 hours during the day. They both sleep soundly overnight. This dynamic duo is as sweet as can be and would make wonderful companions.

We love Coco & Molly so much, and want them to find a wonderful forever home together! If interested in Coco and Molly, please complete an adoption application which can be found at www.seniordoghaven.org. Any questions can be sent to info@seniordoghaven.org.

Please note that because all of our dogs live in foster homes, we must have an application on file before we can schedule any meet and greet.
