Here's what the humans have to say about me:
AVAILABLE IN MISSISSIPPI: Meet Novak! The cuddliest of pups. He is a blue Merle Australian shepherd (possibly aussie/bc x) and estimated to be between 2-3 years old, he weighs about 45-50 lbs, and he is tall and long! NEUTERED and UTD. He has a full tail that wags like crazy when he is happy to see you! He is your typical Velcro Aussie and LOVES his person/people. He enjoys spending his days lounging around, play-wrestling with the resident Aussie, and getting lots of attention.
He loves to run and do what we call “zoomies” around the back yard. He is working on the fetch game-he enjoys going to get the item but doesn’t always bring it back. His prey drive is very high and he will chase anything that runs but has a special liking to squirrels. He would probably do best in a home with no cats and another dog to play with!
He is good on a leash unless too many cars are around, because he gets very nervous. He is what we call “mouthy” and let’s you know when he wants/needs something. He likes to bark when he is excited. He is crate trained when we are gone but sleeps with us at night with no issues. When left alone for too long not crated, he tends to chew on things so it is best that he is crated when someone isn’t home. He does good with our 3 year old but with his herding drive he would probably do better with OLDER children who know how to handle/play with a dog appropriately. https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-applica…
