My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midas was pulled from MDAS in 2017 as a little buddy. In December 2017, at approximately 6 months old, his foster mom adopted him. To our surprise, in June of 2019, we were notified via email and phone that Midas was found in Northern Alabama. After piecing together the timeline of events following his adoption thanks to the kind woman who had been taking care of him since the end of 2018 (we didn't know he was in Alabama), dealing with the uncooperative adopter from 2017, getting him vetted in Alabama, and arranging transport, Midas made his way from Alabama back to South Florida on July 4th thanks to very helpful transporters. After hanging out with a few different fosters, Midas joined the 12th session of the Pawsitive Direction program. Midas deserves a LOVING FOREVER home.

** Approximately 3 year old Pit Bull mix

** Neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped

** VERY dog friendly. Participated in large playgroups at Trail of Hope Rescue (they generously housed him for us for 1 1/2 weeks before the session started because his temporary foster mom went out of town) and has been used this session to teach another dog boundaries and how to properly interact with other dogs. Midas is patient, tolerant, and gives proper corrections to other dogs when needed which are awesome behavior traits. He does not resource guard toys from other dogs (We don't know if he resource guards food from other dogs because we don't feed them together. Each dog eats in his/her own kennel out of respect for every dog in the program.).

** Kid friendly

** NO CATS ( we will NOT adopt to a home with inside or outside cats)

** Medium energy. LOVES balls whether playing fetch with one or just walking around with one in his mouth. Enjoys hanging out in pools and playing with his canine friends. LOVES to snuggle and be loved on, too.

** Very sweet, loving, and so handsome

** House/kennel trained

** Graduated fully obedience trained, AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) ready, and PhD in Canine Life and Social Skills (CLASS) ready
