Here's what the humans have to say about me:
See a short video of Cosmo here: https://youtu.be/54uz2jDM4O8
Cosmo came to us from a shelter in rural northern Utah.
He is about 1 year of age and a tall, lanky boy weighing about 40 pounds.
This is a high energy dog that is both food and toy motivated. In fact he LOVES toys. He would make a good running or hiking buddy or agility dog. When asked to describe Cosmo his foster mom uses the words intense and resilient.
Cosmo gets along with other dogs and loves to play with them. He likes to play rough, at times, so not all dogs appreciate him. When tested at the shelter with cats, he was nonreactive, but not all cats will apprecaite his energy level and we aren't sure what he would do if the cat was allowed to run.
Cosmo is now crate trained and he rides well in the car. We are working on housetraining. We think this is his first time being an indoor dog. He likes it! Please note: He is learning house manners and this will most likely need to continue this when he goes to his new home.
He is good in a 4 foot high fence, but we don't leave him out for extended periods of time unless we are with him. So far, no digging!
Cosmo is very smart and knows some basic commands such as sit, shake and lie down. Lots of potential here! We are working on retrieving.
He will require daily exercise and mental stimulation to be at his best. No apartments or condos for this guy. He needs a yard and needs to run big when possible.
Cosmo's adoption fee is $250 and includes neuter, microchip, vaccinations, collar and ID tag. After completing an application (located located here:
