My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Freddy is one of the best older beagles you will ever meet. Don't let his age scare you, Freddy is a active boy that enjoys playing with the younger pups at the rescue, along with his best play buddy "Luna".
Freddy is also very respectful indoors, he loves laying on the couch, or a thick dog bed, he knows to be mellow and enjoys getting lots of attention and belly rubs.
Freddy came into the rescue after he was dumped in a very isolated rural area of NW Ga. He was extremely over weight (which he still weighs 40 pounds and needs to continue a low fat diet with lots of exercise, after his low down time is over) and in the heat of the summer, did not stand much of a chance finding his way back to a house. He was found by a hiker and taken to the animal shelter.

Freddy is current on his vaccinations, and has recently received heartworm treatment and is handling his recovery and down low time very well. He is looking forward to his next adventure in life with a family who will commit to love him forever.
