Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY POST
Hi! My name is Judah and I’m a two year old mini aussidoodle. I weigh about 25 pounds and am healthy, neutered, and up to date on all my shots. I LOVE to play fetch and I’m a very active dog. I love walking, hiking, biking, and go to the park. I'd probably be really good at obstacle courses too, if my owners had one to teach me in! Did I mention I love to play ball?
I’m very smart and know all my commands. I’m VERY loyal and affectionate with my humans and love to cuddle and play with them. However, I’m fearful of other people and dogs and can be protective. I’m loud and I bark a lot when startled. I’ve been working with a trainer but I still bark when people come over or I see other dogs across the street. I don’t play easily with other dogs unless we’re properly introduced in large spaces. I do like to play, I just need to find an owner and dog who has the patience to work with me. I need to be socialized more and kept physically or mentally stimulated -- that’s the Aussie in me. I need a job!
My owners are having a baby and while they’re sad to see me go, they say I’m unpredictable with small children and would do better with another family that can dedicate more time and activity to me. I’d do best with an active person/couple, a family with bigger kids, or maybe even on a farm or acreage where I can run around and play. No small children or dominant dogs, please! But I'd do OK with 1-2 other friendly dogs. I have so much love to give, and with a little time and patience I know I’ll settle right in with my next furever family.
