Six sibling puppies were surrendered on 9/14/19 at 9 weeks old (born 7/20/19) to the shelter. These babies were born to a dog who is mixed breed, possibly German shepherd and lab, or beagle, or terrier. In the mix are two boys (Gordie and Oakie) and four girls (Autumn, Ginger, Maizie, and Sugar.) Gordie is mainly white with both brown and black spots. His face has a black spot on the left side but the right side is white and both brown and black markings. Oakie is black with brown feet, muzzle, and eye brows. His toes and chin are white. Autumn is mainly white with black spots and she appears to have an upside down heart on her left side. Her face has brown sides and eyebrows and a narrow white line that starts on the right side of her nose and goes up her face. Ginger is mainly black with light tan on the sides of her face and her eyebrows and white around her nose and her feet. She looks like a 21-year-old dog on the property who might just be her daddy! Maizie is mainly black with brown on the sides of her face and her eyebrows. She has no white on her head but has white feet, white on her chest, and a white chin. Sugar is mainly white with some black spots. However, she has brown fur around her left eye, which it looks like may stay blue in color. She has black at the base of her ears and on most of her ears, but she has brown fringe on her ears. The puppies had shots and deworming on the day they arrived. When they came in, Gordie weighed 10.2 lbs, Oakie weighed 8.9 lbs., Autumn weighed 9.4 lbs, Ginger weighed 9.8 lbs., Maizie weighed 7.3 pounds, and Sugar weighed in at 9.5 lbs. They are all growing quickly and romping and playing and seem to be very healthy. All they need now are families who love them!
