Coty was an owner surrender who came to the shelter on 9/24/19. She is spayed and weighs about 30 pounds. Her kennel card states that her surrender is due to "owners divorce." Previous vet records reveal that Coty has received regular annual vet care up until 2018, but there seems to be no vet check since that time. Coty's being in a kennel and in a shelter is very sad, for Coty is 12 years old. She is a sweet dog who deserves better than to spend the end of her life in a shelter! She seems healthy and sweet natured, but she will quickly flinch if someone moves too quickly near her. Has she been hit in the past? Is she simply afraid in the new environment? We don't know yet. The vet records list Coty as a husky, but she is too small to be a husky. The humane officer has listed her as a sheltie and shepherd mix. Give this sweet girl a soft and safe place to live out her life, please!
