My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Nugget and I am 10 years old and weigh 16 lbs.

My owner was in an accident and ever since then has had both financial and serious health concerns so she surrendered me to Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati.

I have been in a foster home near Cincinnati enjoying a big, fenced yard and playing with my five rescue brothers and sisters. I do well on a leash but have always had a fenced yard loving the freedom and security it gives me.

I am now current on all shots, micro-chipped and had a full dental and blood work done. I'm in good shape but do have a little arthritis.

I am very shy when you first meet me; but warm up quickly. Car rides are a real treat for me except they make me so sleepy and I miss out on all the fun places we pass. I have never been around children and think it best that I am in a home with no children or older ones.

As I said, I love being with dogs my size; but scare easily when I see large dogs. I go to my big doggie bed at night around 7 and don't make a peep until next morning.

Please consider filling out an application for me so I can have a home of my own again. My fee is only $250. When I get adopted, my foster mom has a big pink bed and blanket for me as well as a pink winter sweater too....cant wait to use them!
