My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Kiwi! Ok, so maybe I only have three legs but I think it makes me look hot. I mean, come on, anyone could be one of the boring four leggers but it takes a special girl to be a tripod. I had a family once but I broke my leg and I didn’t get the care I needed so it didn’t heal right. They ended up turning me in to animal services. I couldn’t walk on it or anything. So the rescue folks just went ahead and took off that old leg and I feel so much better now! I go to the dog park and I can run and play! In fact, I’ve decided four legs are for losers! I’m even house trained! I get along great with the other dogs in my foster home (wimpy four leggers) and I love everyone I meet! I’m only about a year old and weigh around 12lbs. Who knows what breed I am. Probably Chihuahua mixed with something scruffy and long legged. My foster mom said I finally got my H’s (Healed, healthy, happy) and I’m ready to try again with a forever home. I really need a house with a fenced yard, where I will be an inside dog and won’t be left alone for long hours during the work week.
