My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spay : Still needs to be spayed. Will be done prior to adoption.

About : Miss Bella found her way to my neighbors house a few weekends back after getting out of her pen and taking herself on a leisurely walk through the woods. We found her owners and she went back home. The owner approached me later that week as requested assistance in finding her a new home. She has been used for breeding in the past and is ready to retire from that part of her life. She seems in good health and well fed and probably has a few extra pounds that she doesn’t need…but who doesn’t?

Activity level: Per her current owners she does have some energy she needs to burn. The hour or so she was with me we had her in a loose harness and she pulled a little bit but it was a brand new environment and she was smelling all around the ground. She is not a heavy puller. She would need some leash training as I suspect she hasn’t been leash walked a whole lot. We sat outside and she immediately sat in my lap and leaned her whole body against time. She loves ALL the HUGS and ALL the Cuddles ALL of the time. If you are watching a movie I would imaging you would have a cozy Bella in your lap or snuggled at your feet. Her current owner say that she is somewhat of an escape artist and a very secure outdoor area / supervision outside would be needed.

Other dogs : Bella is currently around other dogs and use to being one of the pack. When we had her briefly she met 2 larger dogs and a small dog. She is a little timid with strange dogs and choose to quietly walk off to find a human to stand by. Was not aggressive, no growling, no lunging, ect. With proper introduction I would imaging she would get along well with almost any dog in time. She may have been extra timid as she was with strange people as well. She was more interested in what people were doing and if one of them could pet her than what the dogs were doing.

Social : She seems VERY social and loving. Took any and every opportunity to get pet and lean against us. She did very well in the car ride (after I lifted her up into the jeep). Let us brush her and get the little plant stickies out of her hair without a problem. She would enjoy being a spoiled baby being fussed over.
