Sylvia & Doc are pure bred bonded Bichon litter mates, 14 yrs young with very similar temperaments.
Ideally, best suited for a home with someone present most of the day. Both enjoy napping close to humans. In under a week with the foster, both dogs quickly adjusted to meal and potty break schedule. They both interacted with older kids with no issues.
Sylvia, Initially shy and hesitant meeting new people is easy going, low maintenance, easily trained to wee pads, ongoing training to “pee” on pads. Other potty occurs on pads, no issues. She enjoys leash walks or simply resting outside with family. Sylvia bonded well with the fosters other 3 Bichons. Sylvia barks when she arrives home, otherwise is a very low key barker.
Doc, has a similar personality to Sylvia. He wears belly band while inside. He stands patiently for band changes. If you fail to check the band, Doc alerts you that it needs changing. Doc barks a bit more than Sylvia, warmly greeting you & jumps to let you know he missed you!!!
Their story is sad... They were the personal dogs of a reputable breeder in NJ that passed away suddenly and was found days later in her home with the dogs morning her.
They are both currently in foster care in Virginia so we are taking applications from the entire east coast (as long as you are willing to drive to pick them up or meet with the foster a reasonable distance.
