My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucas is a sweet senior gentlemen who is eight years young. Don't let his age fool you, he has plenty of love to give and is an equal opportunity love bug! He does great with other dogs, cats, and children. He is house-trained and has excellent house manners--no counter surfing or garbage exploring for this guy!

Lucas is also deaf. Upon testing, it was discovered that he can only hear very low pitched frequencies. For this reason, extra care should be taken around children, so that he isn't startled. He would likely do best in a home with slightly older children who can better understand how to interact with him.

His hearing doesn't get him down though! He enjoys a good romp in the yard, napping on his dog bed, and attention from his humans. Are you looking for mellow companion with great manners, and a loving demeanor? Lucas just might be the dog for you!

An adoption application, site visit, secure visible fencing, and an adoption fee are required to adopt Lucas.
