My story

LOOKING FOR AN ADOPTIVE FAMILY FOR ROCCO

Rocco is a sweet, affectionate 3 year old boy looking for a home.
He is a medium energy level dog and approx. 45 lb dog.

Very lucky for him, he was found on the streets of Cairo by a shelter owner, while some boys tied him to a car and ware trying to make him run behind it. When he didn’t want to, one of them got out and started to hit him with a stick.
The lady intervened, grabbed the dog and took him into the shelter, where he’s been ever since.

He loves playing with other dogs and prefers interactions with females over dominant males. He was not tested with cats.

Despite the cruelty he’s lived through, and who knows really what else happened to him before he was lucky enough to be taken into the shelter, Rocco is a people pleaser, and nothing makes him happier than being praised and loved up. He listens well to the volunteers at the shelter he currently lives at.

He currently lives in Egypt, and has a chance to fly to Canada mid October.
That chance is very narrow as the airlines are closing the cargo flights at the end of the month due to extreme temperatures, thus is we do not find him a home now, he’ll have to most likely wait for his chance till next year.
