A SECURE FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED
Taz is a one year old, fun loving and playful Sheltie boy, looking for his 'fur'ever home. Weighing about 23 lbs., he has a dark mahogany sable and white coat, which is still growing in from his puppy stage. He knows basic commands, is housebroken, crate trained and gets along well with the other dogs in his household. He may be a little irritating to an older dog, however. As an adolescent, he is full of energy and quite spunky. Taz loves to hear the sound of his voice and shares it in the hopes that others enjoy it too! He barks quite a bit outside, but is quiet in the house (until mealtime, when he urges his foster Mom to hurry up with the food!) Taz enjoys playing with plush toys, and the Collie in his foster home. He needs work walking on leash politely. . . it is just too tempting for him to try to chew on the leash, and he pulls when excited. Never has he attempted to jump on the furniture, but instead rests in a dog bed, or next to his foster mom's chair. If you are looking for an active, life of the party Sheltie boy, who calms down nicely in the house, Taz may be your man!
