Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Benson is a 2-year-old neutered male yellow lab. Benson weighs 100 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
DESCRIPTION:
Oct 5, 2019: Benson is a super gorgeous and big boy. He is all puppy. His owner surrendered him because he was having difficulty keeping him contained with an invisible fence. He did not care to take the shock. He got away many times and eventually got hit by a car and his front leg was broken on 9/12. He was in shock when he arrived to the emergency vet, but they were able to stabilize him. We were able to secure a transport for him the following day and arrange for surgery first thing the following Monday. Benson is an incredibly active boy, and it is challenging at times to keep him quiet during his recovery. He is looking for a family who can help him through the recovery period. He currently needs several short daily walks on a leash. He knows sit and down. Once he recovers, he will need to go to obedience training and have regular exercise to help burn his energy.
