My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Donnie came to us (along with her brother, Ky) because their family couldn't keep them any longer. She is an 8 year old spitfire who is small but mighty! She is a tail wagging joy of a beagle. A begger? Sure, but what respectable beagle isn't?! She is not overweight and no current health issues, except she will need a dental cleaning.

When Donnie arrives at CBR, she was not yet spayed. Upon her arrival, she immediately went into heat, so we had to wait to schedule her spay. Unfortunately, during this time she developed pyometra, a life threatening uterine infection. She had to undergo emergency surgery, but she fully recovered and is fine now!

Donnie is a great little walker on leash, but she will pull if she sees another dog or person, so may need some work in that area.

Her brother, Ky, is 5 years old and more mellow than Donnie. He is great on walks and loves to hang out.

Both of these beauties are crate trained, housebroken, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
