Muffy is a marvelous girl who wants her forever family to know these 10 things about her:
1. I am a Cane Corso, and I’m about 3 years old.
2. Like many dogs of my breed, I can be wary of strangers, and I need to be introduced to new people and visitors slowly.
3. I was picked up as a stray with my friend, Stuffy. He is an English Bulldog and much smaller than me, but I don’t mind, I love him anyway. We would like to find a home together, but it will be fine if we end up with separate families too.
4. Once I get to know them, I love people. I think I would do well in a home with children, as long they were older than 12, had previous training or experience with large dogs, and they weren’t too loud or rambunctious.
5. I like the companionship of another dog, but I can be bossy at times too. Therefore, my ideal family would have a large, laid-back male dog that I could hang out with.
5. I’ve spent some time in the company of cats, and although I really like to chase them, I am easily redirected. A feline free home would probably be best, but if my new family was willing to work with me and supervise my interactions in the beginning, I think I could peacefully cohabitate with one.
6. My foster mom describes me as playful, happy, and totally lovable!
7. I like to hang out with humans, sunbathe, and play with my friend Stuffy.
8. I REALLY love to eat. When I got to rescue, I was pretty fat. I would eat all of my food and then try to eat all of Stuffy’s too! I’ve slimmed down quite a bit, but my forever family will have to be diligent to keep me at a healthy weight, and will also need to feed me separately from their other pets.
9. I am housebroken, crate-trained, and good on a leash. I also know how to use a dog door and some basic commands!
10. I am current on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed.
