My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Molly and I’m looking for my forever home. I’m a little over a year old and am a brown and white American Staffordshire/Mix although I’m more mix because I’m a small girl with delicate features.

I’ve lived in the shelter on two different occasions and am currently being fostered. My foster mom thinks I was treated badly in the past because I’m sometimes afraid to come to her and I always think I should be outside. But I love to give her kisses all the time; I’m very affectionate. My foster dad lets me sit on the couch with him to watch TV in the evening and I get to relax before being crated for the night.

I don’t like to be crated much during the day – foster mom thinks it’s because I was made to be an outside dog in the past and I’m not used to the smaller space but lately I’ve been taking naps in my crate with no problem. I haven’t had a single potty accident in the house because I do my business outside.

I am very dog friendly and have two pitbull foster brothers that I love to play with. They are teaching me what it’s like to live in a safe place with a lot of love, treats and fun. I also love kids. Foster mom has two grandchildren, ages 11 and 12, and they let me give them kisses and follow them around the house. Foster mom believes I would do best in an environment where someone is home and has another dog for me to play with. Can you give me a forever home???

We are located in Houston, TX, but Molly can be transported to an approved foster in the PNW for an additional fee.
