Joey (male) and a female, likely his sister, who was named Jude were brought to the shelter as strays who were too interested in a farmer's chickens for his comfort. When the dogs arrived, they were very hungry, which may have explained their interest in having a chicken dinner. These two dogs have likely been together all their lives, but they are only about 6-7 months old. Joey weighs in at 42 pounds and Jude is 41.1, pretty close in weight although she looks smaller than her brother. Joey is a little more accepting of new people than Jude, who may be a little nervous about being in a new place yet. Both seem very smart and willing to learn, but they are a bit shy at first. Leash walking is probably new to them, for at times they get scared but will usually go along with what is asked of them. They need a little training, but they are so worth it!
