Jude (female) and a male (Joey) who is likely her brother were brought to the shelter as strays who were too interested in a farmer's chickens for his comfort. When the dogs arrived, they were very hungry, which may have explained their interest in having a chicken dinner. These two dogs have likely been together all their lives, but they are only about 6-7 months old. Joey weighed in at 42 pounds while Jude registered 41.1, pretty close in weight although she looks smaller than her brother. Joey is a little more accepting of new people than Jude, who may be a little nervous about being in a new place yet. Both seem very smart and willing to learn, but they are a bit shy at first. Leash walking is probably new to them, for at times they get scared and pull back occasionally but will usually go along with what is asked of them. They will improve with every walk. They need a little training, but they are so worth it!
