Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Phoebe is a fluffy bundle of love and energy that loves to keep you on your toes. Her favorite activities include wading in her kiddie pool, playing with a water hose, eating ice, and playing with her foster brothers and sisters. She is crate trained, house trained, knows basic commands, and is good with other dogs and kids.
She is a very smart girl and has great potential to learn many more tricks in life. She is treat-driven so if you have snacks in hand, she'll do whatever she can to earn them. She currently knows sit and has learned to do so in conjunction with a hand signal, so you don't even have to say it! She's so smart that she knows the sound of the freezer opening and will come running for an ice cube.
Phoebe is a power chewer so it's very important to keep toys on hand. She's not terribly picky, but some of her favorites include antlers, nylabones, and rubber frisbees. Stuffed animals and squeakers aren't really her thing.
Play time is very important to Phoebe, as she has 3 foster brothers and sisters. She likes to play fight with her foster sister Dolly, but they are older and tire of her antics quickly. Phoebe would do well with other high-energy dogs that can handle her play sessions. She does get along with cats, but needs frequent reminders to not chase them.
She loves the water and has a blast with a kiddie pool, water hose, or just munching on some ice. Hey, it gets hot around here and she's a very fluffy gal! A fresh pool of water can really help a girl cool off. Just don't expect the same excitement for a bath...
Overall, Phoebe is a brilliant pup with loads of potential, but will need a persistent hand in training. She is not a beginner dog and will need someone that can dedicate time to her training. If you're willing to put in the work, be prepared to be rewarded with an amazing dog!
