Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ivan is a 7-8 month old puppy who is searching for his new furever home.
This guy was surrendered to a shelter after the owner fell ill and could no longer care for her animals. He was noted to have 'submissive' urination issues in the home and kennel.
In his foster he is a big, goofy, aloof, clumsy guy who is constantly looking for direction. He will be a big dog and need plenty of regular exercise. This is not a dog for a first time dog owner, he will need consistent training and a strong leader.
He has lived with dogs, cats, and kids! He is a bit much for much smaller kids as he still needs to learn manners, in the right home he would do fine. Ideally he would do well with minimal people and craziness in the home. We believe the urination is from over excitement compared to submissive peeing.
He will need toys and a LOT of food. He is not a dog to have because he is cute and he will walk all over you if you give in. He has a lot of the Mastiff temperament and some of the Weimaraner energy, but not quite as high strung.
Ivan’s adoption fee is $250, and adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad City Area.

Ivan and K9 Kindness Rescue thank you for considering adoption through rescue for your new family companion!
