Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Today Felton is a sweet, friendly, and playful cat. But when I trapped him he had a serious and painful wound on his neck. It took many weeks for the injury to heal (he'll always have a scar from it), and once his health stabilized, he needed surgery to correct a painful defect in his right eye. But he came through it all with calmness and grace. The veterinary team couldn't believe that Felton had been rescued off the street because he was always so chill and well behaved.
Felton is adorable and got his name because he looks like he’s made of felt. He’s an easy-going guy and very social. He’s calm when home alone, but is happiest when he’s with people and other cats. He loves having his head rubbed, eating treats, and playing with every toy here (catnip, wand, turbo scratcher, hot pursuit). When Felton wants me to pet him, he tries to burrow his head under my hands. And when he scratches himself using a back paw, he pokes his tongue in and out the entire time. He’s so cute and funny.
He is approximately 4-5 years old, has been microchipped, vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP, and treated for fleas and parasites. He's been SNAP tested and is negative for FeLV, but positive for FIV. His overall health is excellent, but if you have any concerns about adopting an FIV+ cat, please read this veterinarian’s article : “FIV is nothing to be concerned about” (www.petmd.com/blogs/fullyvetted/2010/april/adopting_FIV_Cats-7226).
As you can see, Felton is a very special little guy. If you adopt him, his loving and playful nature will warm your heart and your home.
