My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome little man is Ralph. He was apart of a hoarding situation of over 20 dogs that ended up in Rowan County Animal Shelter. From what we can tell he had very little experience with being outside before he came to us and had never been on a leash before. He is improving each day and will go on short little walks around the house with us right now. He is working on house training, but he does appear to be pee pad trained. Ralph can be nervous of new people, but as long as you are calm and patient with him he will warm up in no time. He loves playing with other dogs, and would love another dog companion in his forever home. He does have some red skin right now, and our vet is not for sure if it’s caused from him being covered in fleas when we first got him or if he might have some type of allergy. He is currently getting benadryl twice a day.
