This handsome little boy is Desmond. He is 9 weeks old, and is starting to look for his forever home. We believe that he is a chihuahua/beagle mix, and his mother is in one of the photos. Pictures provided are from he was just two weeks old up until today. The mother came to us already pregnant so we have no clue what the father looked like. (The mother already has a home lined up pending her spay) He is very playful and ready to start exploring the world. He has received his initial vaccines and deworming. He will also be on monthly preventatives and microchipped. Due to his age he is not neutered yet, therefore his contract will be a foster to adopt pending him getting neutered. You will be able to bring him home before his surgery, but you must bring him to the vet to get neutered. Once approved we will discuss a date for him to get neutered at Piedmont Community Spay/Neuter and wellness clinic in Greensboro. We will cover the cost of the neuter surgery as well as his rabies vaccine. You will be able to purchase pain meds at the clinic for $15 and an e-collar $7-$10 depending on size. Requirements:
- you will need to contact your veterinarian office to give them permission to give a vet reference. If you do not take this step and your vet won’t give the reference we will move onto the next applicant
- all pets in home must be up to date on vaccines and MUST be spayed/neutered.
- a home visit is required for all animals under Foster to Adopt before letting the animal stay at your home
