DAKOTA is everything anyone could ever want in a family dog! She is snuggly yet playful and smart as a whip to boot. She is eager to greet all people and seems to adore every pup on the planet. One of her favorite pastimes is cuddling with her foster siblings.
Beautiful DAKOTA is also a tri-pawd princess! She has no idea she is different from any other pup and she has no limitations whatsoever!, Check out her video which shows her playing with her two foster siblings who also happen to be tri- pawds! DAKOTA is a joyful soul who loves every single day of life. She gets along with her foster siblings famously. She enjoys all sorts of different games with them, but is also very good napping or entertaining herself with her toys when they don’t feel like playing. Her favorite pastimes, besides giving affection, are snuggling on the couch or lounging around on her doggy bed. DAKOTA is good in the car and well behaved in public places, which makes it easy for her foster mom to take her on outings! She was even the crowd favorite at one of our recent Woof River events. DAKOTA has great indoor manners. She knows not to potty in the house and is lovely in the crate when her foster mom is at work. DAKOTA’S fun personality brings a smile to the faces of everyone who is lucky enough to meet her. She is sure to delight her forever family for many years to come!

DAKOTA is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
Her $490 adoption fee includes her interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the New England area after she is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our Nashville, Knoxville and some New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com). We also use Pet Express Tupelo (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com/). For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
