Oreo is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.

Oreo was found as a stray running in a rural neighborhood with Olga, a pug mix that may be his mother. He is a small tricolor dog estimated to be maybe around 1-1/2 years old and weighing 11 pounds. He could be a pug/beagle mix....it's difficult to tell what breeds are in the mix. Oreo is a very sweet, and loving little guy. He is very shy of people that he doesn't know and it takes a few days for him to warm up. This is simply because he is not used to receiving a lot of human attention. He just needs a loving home and family to make him comfortable. Oreo is fairly quiet and well behaved. He is not house trained and other training may also be needed. Oreo is small and must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that can hurt him. He must also be protected from outdoor predators and large raptors that would consider him dinner. Oreo must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.

Oreo is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and current on heartworm and flea preventative. Oreo has a $500.00 adoption fee which includes ground transport to Strasburg VA or Hagerstown MD.
