My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTED 8/19/06 by NATE & DESIRE! Puntino (Italian for "spot") aka Tino is a boy that's almost 2 years old, born 7/25/04. "Tino" is looking for a home of his own. He is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, and litterbox trained. Gets along fine with other cats and small to medium sized dogs, but would do best with children age 6 and up as he doesn't like to be pulled on or poked by smaller children. He is very friendly and active. Tino was attacked by a dog when he was 4 months old, so he's very weary of large dogs and loud noises. He loves people though and asks for attention any chance he gets. He is a BIG boy, approximately 15-20 pounds...but very loving and just a sweetheart.


We ask that Tino goes to a home with NO large, aggressive dogs. Please see photos and call or email for more information (if you email us please expect a delay in getting back to you). He MUST be kept in-doors AT ALL TIMES.... or allowed outside supervised WITH a leash and harness on (also could have a cat-proof fenced yard). Adoption includes an application, house-visit, contract, and fee. We offer a reduced adoption fee if 2 cats or kittens are adopted by the same family. By signing our contract, adoptees agree to return their kitties to GHP if for any reason they can't be kept any longer. People within a 50 mile radius of Colorado Springs get adoption priority due to transportation restrictions unless I can find someone to do out-of-town adoptions (this is pending). NOTE: If you are interested in becoming a volunteer to do home visits in the Denver area please let me know ASAP! Tino would love to have a forever home.
