Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi I’m Favre! I am a female mix who is approximately 4 months old. I am the SWEETEST thing ever who is affectionate, Velcro, smart and has a wonderful temperament.
Favre has a healed broken front leg that has left her leg slightly crooked. After a couple X-rays and some orthopedist appointments, we have determined that her leg is an asset rather than a burden and does not require surgery at this time. Her leg is stable and has full range of motion and she gets around very well. Basically, she plays and runs like all the other dogs but does have a different gate and stance than the rest.
Favre loves walks, hikes, car rides but her favorite thing is being with her people. She is quite needy, so her person needs to be around a lot. She is a fast learner, so someone who is looking for a dog to train or to possibly have a dog who shows potential for being a therapy dog, she would be great!
Her ideal home would be someone who is home a lot and can engage with her. She REALLY loves her people and would more than likely do best with another friendly dog! She would make a fantastic family dog with respectful children who are gentle and nice. I would like Favre go to home who is committed and accepting of her leg and who has the financial means to take care of it if needed down the road.
Favre is good on leash, rides well in the car, is crate trained, loves all people and dogs, is ALMOST house trained and does alright with cats. She is very playful with other dogs but can be shy at first. Favre currently weighs 23 lbs and should be a medium size dog when fully grown. She is UTD on all shots. If she sounds like a dog your interested in, please fill out an application. Must have a meet and greet before adoption.
