Tootsie is one of three small terriers that were taken out of a horrible situation by Animal Control in Southern IN. We don't mean to be graphic but all three of these girls were living in filth and were soaked in urine and feces. Their hair was matted and so bad that the pads of their feet did not even touch the ground. When they came to my home they were fearful and scared out their minds. But never once snapped or bit even when being groomed and shaved. It seemed that they had never been outside. Even with all that they were sweet and soaked up attention. After just a couple weeks they are doing so much better. Tootsie is the youngest at 1-2 years old and weighs about 11 pounds but could use a few more pounds. Each of these pups soak up affection and love to with people. Tootsie is crate trained but we are not sure about housebreaking. If you apply for one of these sweet girls you must be ready to be patient and work hard to give them time to get used to life in your home. Do not apply if you are not ready to commit to this as they do not need to be moved again. I guarantee you will find your best friend if you are willing to be patient and earn their trust. Tootsie's adoption fee is $325 and includes spay, microchip, vaccinations for age, deworming, and is current on flea/heart worm medications.
