Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET LILY! Lily is 10 years old and weighs 5-1/2 lbs. Sweet Lily is being fostered in Ocala, FL.
UPDATED BIO 10/01/2019: Poor Lily had a bit of sadness in her life prior to coming into UYR. She and several other small dogs were dumped at a state park in Florida several months ago. When a fellow rescuer heard about Lily’s plight, she stepped up to take her and get her fixed up. Fast Forward …..
Lily is a delightful little love bug. She is a Velcro dog and enjoys following her foster mom around the house – step-for-step! She is happy with both men and woman, as long as they give her the attention she deserves as a perfect little princess. Since arriving into UYR, Lily has stuck close to the other dogs in the home, but perhaps Lily would love being the only dog in the home so she can get all the attention, and having another dog in the home would be fine with Lily as well. Lily does have a bit of separation anxiety when left alone, so another companion dog in the home would be nice to keep her company.
Lily enjoys behind held (like all the time), giving kisses and sleeping in bed with her human under the covers. She is also a very good traveler – she is a happy girlie a long as she is close to her humans. BONUS! Lily is house-trained and will bark to tell you she has to go outside. Lily went to a human doctor’s appointment with her foster mom and laid quietly in her foster mom’s lap the entire time – what a patient and lovely little girlie she is! She is very well-behaved and comes immediately when she is called.
The perfect home for Lily would be one where her furever parent(s) are retired, or one in which she has at least one stay-at-home parent, or perhaps even a home where she could go to work with her parent. If you are looking for little dog that will love you forever, then Lily is the dog for you. Lily is looking for the perfect forever parent and is patiently waiting for your application.
