Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oh hello there! Did you come to see me? You did? Yay! So then you must know that my name is Victoria and I’m only 3 ½ years old. Oh I’m so happy to meet you! I haven’t had a lot of visitors since I’ve been at the adoption centre. You see, I was very shy when I first came here, so people passed by me. But guess what? I’m getting so much better now. I love to play with toys and have my favourites that I snag for myself as soon as I see them. Oooh and I love catnip! It’s one of my favourite things. And food. Yes, food too – especially wet. As soon as I see the plates coming out, I start meowing frantically, just to make sure I get the attention of the volunteers so they don’t miss me. Not that they ever would, but you know, just in case. The volunteers say I’m gaining more confidence every day! They know this because I’m starting to come out of my condo to explore more. I like to lie upside down and reach for them with my paws. I just want them to come and see me and give me pets. Ok, and to show them how cute I am too. Oh! And guess what? I wasn’t sure about other cats at first, but I’ve made a new cat friend! He comes into my condo to play and sleep sometimes. Even though I have a cat friend, I think my new home should be a quiet one, with no dogs or quick moving young kids.
Where did I come from? Well, I was found as a stray with my kittens. I’m so glad we were brought into the rescue, where we were safe and warm. My kittens have all found their forever homes, so now it’s just me waiting for mine!
If, or should I say when, you fall in love me with and want to take me home, I just need you to understand that I am still a bit shy. As long as you have patience to let me get used to my new surroundings and to trust everyone, I know I’m going to be a great companion. I heard one of the volunteers say that I have the “potential” to be a very loving cat. I have to say, I agree!
