Chaplin: the cutest, sweetest puppy in the world. He's 12-14 weeks old (on July 12), weighs 7 lbs. on the dot at the moment, has the most adorable chubby puppy tummy and a beautiful coat with gorgeous floppy feathered ears.
Chaplin survived on the streets at a VERY young age long enough to be picked up by animal control and taken to the shelter, where it was determined he had been attacked by another dog. He had puncture wounds in both front legs and one leg was lame, but, luckily, it turned out not to be broken but just to have suffered soft tissue damage that has since completely healed.
This little boy is a total love. He will let you hug and kiss him and just snuggles into you. But he is also a healthy, energetic and very playful young pup. He is in a foster home with other young dogs and he loves to play with them and with toys. He loves the cat and begs her to play with him but is respectful when she declines (perhaps because she is twice his size).
For a pup his age, Chaplin is very outgoing and confident. His first outing on a leash to a public place was a smashing success. Because he has yet to get his final puppy shots, he hasn't been to any public places where other dogs regularly go but he should adapt very well to walks and outings.
Chaplin is a Tibetan Spaniel or a Tibbie mix. He has a beautiful silky coat already and a ton of thick hair on his ears much like a Papillon, except Paps don't have that much hair on their ears as young puppies. Chaplin is a creamy white with ears and markings that are blond.
Chaplin will be ready to go to his forever home the week of July 27, after he has had his final puppy shots. He is already neutered and microchipped.
