My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Benson. I'm a mature fellow. They tell me I'm between 10-13, but age is just a number. I am pretty laid back. I do ok with other dogs, as long as they don't get in my face. You see, I can't hear and also have vision impairment, so I don't like when other dogs sneak up on me! I do great with the other dogs in my foster home. My favorite thing to do is to sleep. And sleep. Then sleep some more. I also enjoy being your shadow and will follow you everywhere yougo. I'm already potty trained and sleep through the night with my foster parents. I do love a good walk here and there and enjoy going on adventures with my foster parents. I'm just looking for a retirement home to live out my golden years where I can just sleep all day, and maybe go for the occasional walk. I do great in the car, once I realized I wasn't being taken back to the shelter. So if you're looking for an older, more mature and refined gentlemen, then I am your guy!

An adoption fee of $250 includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm preventatives if appropriate, and all medical costs while in our care.
