My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petey is a 4 yr old neutered white schnauzer who adores hanging out with his people at home. He is housebroken, walks good on the leash, loves going for walks to check out the smells yet is happy to lay out in the yard in the sunshine. Petey does admit he gets anxious about being left alone by whining and barking, however, he is gaining confidence as he only fusses for a short time then he settles down. Because he does get anxious, he needs to have his very own special ‘nest’ to feel important and safe in his environment. His own bed or chair makes him a happy camper. He gets along with other dogs, cats, as well as loves to play with toys. Petey is just looking for the simple calm home life so he can shower his peeps with love! Give me a call as I am ready for my forever home!

Dogs will only be adopted to residents of the following: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and DC.

Adopters must agree to take the dog through obedience training within 3 months of adoption (unless the dog is over age 10).

Adopters must agree to keep the dog current on vaccinations and heart worm, flea, tick prevention on a year round basis.
