My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

First of all, this absolutely kills me. We rescued Jet in 2011-ish, he is about 10 years old. He came from a kill shelter in North Carolina. We were looking for an awesome family dog as we had a little kid (under 10 at the time) and Jet IS an awesome family dog! He is the absolute love of my life and the best dog in the world. Here is the situation; time constraints presented by a change in our family status and my work schedule we just are not home enough to dedicate the kind of time and attention we once were and the kind he deserves. My hope here is that we can find him a loving home with someone patient and devoted, who is home more than we are and can take him for the 2 mile runs he loves and needs and doesn't have kids leaving food out everywhere (counter surfer/scavenger!).
