Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wally is looking for his furever family! Wally is smart, attentive, and eager to learn. He is looking for a family that has some experience with dogs and herding breeds. He loves to be with his humans and is friendly towards other dogs although greetings for new people and dogs inside the home need to be done intentionally and patiently as he is a self-employed watch dog!
Ideal family members are above 10 years old, as he would have too much fun herding rowdy children. Wally is great at loose-leash walking but asks that you pull over when other dogs approach so that he doesn’t have to share the sidewalk. We are working on dog greetings on-leash and hope his furever family will continue the progress! His tail is very short so keep an eye out for wiggle butt!
Wally knows Sit, Down, Come, Stay, Shake, Let Go, Off, and Spin! An ideal day for Wally is a walk around the block, or some active play in the backyard, cuddles on the couch, tug, catch, or chase, and deep conversation about the mailman's schedule.
