Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
They named me Copper because I’m shiny like a brand new penny!
Earlier this year I found myself at the Valencia County shelter as a stray. Lucky for me, these rescue people met me and swooped me up for their PAWS program.
I went to the prison and learned sit, shake, house and crate training, how to walk on the leash, and really just how to be a Very Good Boy.
I love to smile and be happy, and spend time with humans. Dogs are awesome too- I love to play!
I’m a one year-ish old Hound mix of some sort, and I’m looking for a family whose favorite color is Copper!
If you think you might be the right home for me, fill out an adoption application here: www.viva-nm.org My adoption fee is $250, that covers all the vet care and training I got as part of the program.
If you don’t think I’m the pup for you, do me a huge favor and SHARE me, I wanna go home!
Xoxo,
Copper
