My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mochi is the sweetest, most gentle cat! He loves to nuzzle and cuddle. Very friendly, affectionate, and sociable. You can carry him, pull burrs off of him, rub his belly, and he never nips or scratches.

He enjoys cozy “hiding” spots. He’d love a cat house!

Mochi adores people but is very averse to other animals. His former owners were neglectful and have other pets (cats and a visiting dog) which upset Mochi so much he’d been running away from home. His new foster parent loves him but sadly can’t keep him. Urgently looking for a new forever home!

Mochi would thrive in a fairly quiet, laid back home. He doesn’t know how to defend himself, so he’d likely be safest as an indoor-only cat. Open to an indoor & outdoor home for an experienced cat owner who can provide a stable, easygoing home.

Mochi comes with his food and water bowls, litterbox tray, whatever cat food and kitty litter is available at the time of adoption, and a new collar with bell.
