Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***ADOPTIVE FAMILY NEEDD FOR HOPE***
Hope is a sweet, calm and gentle three year old girl, that has suffered indescribable cruelty, abuse and pain in her short life.
Now she has a chance at love, safety and learning what it’s like to be a cherished canine family member in Canada and we welcome all inquiries and would love to speak with potential adoptive families.
This her story as told by her Egyptian rescuer:
‘This Baby Girl suffered horrible neglect and disregard as a result of which she has lost her leg.
A reckless driver, who should not be issued a license in the first place had smashed into her with his car, damaging her leg, leaving her behind screaming with pain. Like many others, he carried on with his day like nothing happened.
Similarity to many stray dogs in Cairo, Hope was left for weeks barely being able to move and unable to find food, water or shelter in the sun-scorching days.
People got disgusted by the way her legs looked and just shooed her away!, while others threw stones at her just to scare her away.
For weeks this baby did not receive the medical and emotional care she needed to recover and sadly we heard about her case a bit too late!
We had to amputate her injured leg to avoid full body infection.
We would love to find her a home where she will be guaranteed a full stomach and daily tender loving care.’
No further treatment is necessary, Hope’s body has recovered. She is a sweet, friendly girl, loving human attention. She’s calm, and loves playing with other calm dogs.
She has not been tested with cats.
She us spayed, UTD and healthy.
She is in a foster home in Toronto,
Her adoption fee is $475.
