Hi! I’m Daisy!

I was at the San Jose Shelter and was not doing well there. I was really scared and they were gonna euthanize me. Can you believe that? But the wonderful people at Tail Waggers saved me at the last minute and found me an amazing foster home!

I’ve really started to blossom with my foster family. I have discovered a lot of things that I LOVE! My favorite thing is going for walks. Lots and lots of walks! My foster mom takes me for long walks every day, and they are the best! Oh, and I’m fantastic on my leash. My foster brother and I go to the beach with my foster mom and it is a lot of fun. I like to bark at all the waves! I recently started taking agility classes and my foster mom says I’m a natural. I have to admit…I AM really good at it! I enjoy snuggle time on the sofa, and love those belly rubs. I like being around other dogs and I’m good with kitties, too. However, I would be fine being your one and only pup, too! (I MIGHT bark at a kitty every now and then, but hey -- I'm a dog after all!)

The shelter says I’m 10 years old, but no one believes it. My foster mom, the vet, vet techs, boarding facility people and trainer think they’re super wrong about that. I have a lot of energy, and there’s nothing ‘senior’ about me! I am potty trained and crate trained (although I would really rather sleep in bed with you!) I am working on some fear and guarding issues, but am doing great since I now have some rules and structure!

I would LOVE to finally find my FOREVER home and family -- could it be with you?!?
